What We Specialize In

Florida Pain and Embolization Specialists is dedicated to treating spinal and nerve-related pain caused by arthritis, spinal stenosis, nerve impingement, herniated discs, facet joint dysfunction, whiplash, muscle pain, and shingles. Using state-of-the-art imaging and minimally invasive techniques, he provides advanced, effective treatment options for patients seeking non-surgical relief.

With over 25,000 procedures performed and 3,000+ each year, Dr. Gamburg has achieved significant improvement in more than 80% of his patients. He was among the first physicians in the country to perform percutaneous disc decompression using coblation energy and continues to lead in procedures such as facet nerve and sacroiliac radiofrequency ablation, allowing most patients to return to normal activity the following day.

In addition to comprehensive spine and pain care, Dr. Gamburg collaborates with top interventional radiologists across New York, New Jersey, and Florida to offer advanced embolization treatments. One of the most innovative is Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE)—a minimally invasive, image-guided procedure that reduces knee inflammation and chronic pain for patients with osteoarthritis, helping many avoid or delay total knee replacement surgery.

Dr. Gamburg is the Medical Director of Cross River Pain Management PC and completed his training at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC in 1998 he is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management.

During the past eight years he has been in the forefront in teaching and development of minimally invasive technologies for the treatment of back pain.
